An account has been set up to help the family of Casa Grande High School student Anais Barajas Centeno who was killed in a traffic collision that occurred Nov. 16. She died a week later.

Centeno, a senior at Casa, was a passenger in a car that was hit by a pickup truck at Highway 116 and Madrone Avenue.

The collision was the second fatal crash in a month at that intersection.

A memorial fund to defray expenses for Centeno’s family has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank. Those who wish to help can contact any branch and donate in her name.

The account will likely remain open for about six weeks, said Valerie Suazo, a friend of the Centeno family.
