Brittany Schnurr is Santa Rosa City Schools student of the month for March.

“Brittany is a very conscientious student and has achieved the highest number of points possible in my social studies class,” teacher Patrick Houlihan told district officials.

Tracy Barber, Schnurr’s electives teacher said the student has evolved significantly in her time at Lewis Opportunity. “Brittany’s consistency as a student makes her a joy to have in class,” Barber told district officials. “She is respectful, thoughtful and helpful to both teachers and her peers.”

“Brittany’s work ethic and sense of responsibility set the standard in my classes,” said Julie Peterich, math and computer applications teacher. “Working with her is the highlight of my day. If I had a daughter, I would hope that she would be just like Brittany.”
