This is not entirely an education item, but it sounds like fun so here it is:
Landpaths’ Bayer Farm is hosting their annual Halloween event from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the farm on 1550 West Ave. in Santa Rosa.
Activities include pumpkin carving, music, Basurita the Clown, outdoor kids’ games, nutrition zone and cooking demonstration, and an art exhibition “Bayer Farm and the Roseland Paintings” by Alicia Lopez de Oceguera and Jamie Poulsen.
Organizers are encouraging people to bring a picnic lunch.
The entrance fee is $1 and raffle tickets to win a bike will be for sale.
