UPDATE: OK, I found a Save Ursuline group on Facebook: http://on.fb.me/hVEhbc but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of recent activity with it. There are 34 members and last action was about three weeks ago. The site was established about a month ago, according to the home page.

Ursuline High School officials are warning folks away from a website apparently created to raise awareness and/or funds about the school’s financial situation and announced closure. Officials posted this message on their website:

“It has come to our attention that there is a Web site (http://saveursuline.com) soliciting funds to save Ursuline. We want to warn you that this Web site is not approved or authorized by the Ursuline Sisters or Ursuline High School. Contributions made to this site are at your own risk.”

I tried to find the site, but only managed to find dead links. I did however find an odd Facebook page…in German. Some comments are in English, some in German but all are on a German Facebook page. And all information seems to be about the Santa Rosa campus.
