Cotati-Rohnert Park is accepting kindergarten registration packets beginning Feb. 1. Parents can register through the end of the year.

Immunization records from the student’s doctor are required for registration.

The deadline for requests for students transferring into the district is May 2. Requests received after May 1 will be held until after the first 10 days of the following school year for board action, according to the district.

Requests to transfer to a school in the district other than a student’s school of residence are due May2. Requests submitted after this date will not be considered, according to the district.

At the time of the enrollment, parents must provide a birth certificate, baptismal record or passport, as well as a proof of residence.

Children must be five years old before Dec. 2 2011 to enroll in kindergarten.
