Lisa Arciga is Santa Rosa City Schools high school student of the month for Februrary.
Arciga has earned a 3.5 grade point average and has nearly perfect attendance in her time at Lewis Adult School.
Arciga’s world history teacher Patrick Houlihan describes Arciga as an outstanding young woman who demonstrates high levels of maturity. She also enjoys remarkable respect from her peers, he told district officials.
Her science teacher Marlena Hirsch describes Arciga as a student with fabulous ideas and follow through. She has demonstrated great teamwork by collaborating with her classmates on group assignments, she said.
Vice principal Cal Morgan might have offered the highest praise, saying Lewis is a better place because Arciga is a student there.
