Santa Rosa Middle School is wrapping up a week of multicultural events on the E Street campus.

The fourth annual event has featured a talk from a classmate of Anne Frank’s, a Cambodian dance performance, Chinese juggling and acrobatics, African drumming and a presentation about the Japanese American experience.

Having attended one of these events a couple of years ago, I know how cool the Chinese acrobats are. (Read that story here: http://bit.ly/fgZlm0)

The Santa Rosa Middle School Multicultural Celebration will culminate in an event Friday night with 16 food booths, live Mariachi music, Chinese acrobats and Hawaiian dancing.

The Friday night event is free and open to the public. It runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a charge for various food items, according to organizers.

Santa Rosa Middle School is located at 500 E Street. For more information, call 528-5281.
