University of San Francisco professor Stephen Zunes will be the guest lecturer at a Monday, April 11 fundraiser for the Sonoma State University Model United Nations Club fundraiser.
Zunes, who studies the Middle East, nonviolent action and international human rights, will address the question: “When, Why and How Should the United States Intervene in Countries Like Libya and Egypt?”
The fundraiser begins at 6 p.m. in Stevenson 1002 with a silent auction and refreshments. The public is invited to attend.
Nineteen members of the SSU Model UN Club are heading to the national conference April 16-21 in New York, according to SSU Model UN advisor professor Cynthia Boaz.
