Families are invited to a free Dia de Los Ninos carnival at Sonoma State University this Sunday.

Geared toward elementary and middle-school aged children, NAKland, will feature jump houses, carnival-style games, face painting, as well as information booths on higher education and the importance of healthy eating, lifestyles and safety. Toys and books will be distributed to families, according to organizers.

The event will also feature DJs, live music and professional dancers.

The event is being organized by the Nu Alpha Kappa non-profit fraternal organization at SSU.

The event is free and runs from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday on the main quad of SSU.
