Calling all area English teachers.

English teachers from grades seven through college level in Sonoma and Marin counties are invited to attend a forum on student expectations in English. The focus will be the building blocks needed for success in college.

Greta Vollmer, English professor at Sonoma State University, will be guest speaker, giving a talk entitled “Grammar as Rhetorical Choice.”

The event is sponsored by the North Bay California Partnership for Achieving Student Success (Cal-PASS). The goal is to better align curriculum and expectations in kindergarten through college.
