Alison Grady is described by Santa Rosa High School officials as the driving force behind the campus Climate Protection Club which is credited with reducing the school’s energy use by 20 percent this year.
Grady was honored for her commitment to the Santa Rosa City Schools Green Team Subcommittee, of which she was an active member since its establishment in 2009.
Grady is planning on attending Smith College in the fall.
