Head Start director Ofelia Ochoa-Morris was honored at Wednesday night’s Santa Rosa City Schools regular board meeting for her being named Administrator of the Year by the California Head Start Association.

“I worked most closely with Ofelia as we prepared the grant for the Pre-K program and as we searched for partners with whom to operate the program,” said Burbank Elementary School Principal Kris Cosca. “Ofelia was always extremely generous of her time, expertise, and resources as we entered into unfamiliar territory. Her guidance helped to solve many problems before they arose.”
