Nicole Thompson, a 2011 graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School in Petaluma, has been given the American Association of Teachers of French Outstanding Senior in French Award.
The award is given annually to a graduating senior who has demonstrated excellence in the study of French as well as a commitment to the French language and culture.
Thompson has studied abroad, was an officer of the campus French Club and participated in the National French Contest and National French Week activities.
Lisa Broderick is her teacher.
