Analy High School’s Tim Forslund has been awarded a Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange grant to teach in Scotland in 2011-12.

Forslund, who teaches social sciences at Analy, is one of about 60 U.S. citizens who will travel abroad through the program this school year, according to Fulbright.

Recipients are selected based on academic or professional achievement, as well as demonstrated leadership potential in their fields, according to the organization.

The Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange Program is administered by the Academy for Educational Development and sponsored by the U.S. government.
