Analy High School junior Gianna Pendleton was recently honored at the 12th annual 49ers Community Quarterback Awards luncheon.
Pendleton was honored for her work with Goldridge 4-H and the Sonoma County 4-H Council.
Five finalists, including Pendleton, where given $1,000. Pendleton also serves as the Youth Countywide Leader in Community Service. The 2012 Community Quarterback Award was given to Glen Bethel of Menlo Park. He received $10,000.
The finalists were recognized with an on-field, pre-game presentation in front of 68,500 people when the 49ers played the Dolphins last month.
