Sonoma State University’s Model UN and UN Association will host a film festival this weekend on campus.

On Friday and Saturday, films will be screened in Warren Auditorium (Ives 101). Shows begin at 5 p.m. and there will be faculty at the event who will lead discussions after each film.

“Shot for Going to School” tells the story of Malala Yousafzai who was shot by the Taliban in Pakistan simply for going to school. It will screen Friday.

“The Choice” is a documentary highlighting the life and struggles faced by Burmese politician and pro-Democracy advocate Aung San Suu Kyi. It will show Saturday.
