Chris Pierpoint continues to give.

The Rincon Valley Middle School student who died last month after suffering a brain hemorrhage  will be the inspiration behind a holiday toy drive on Dec. 11.

Santa Rosa United soccer club, with whom “The White Flash” played for years, will host a toy drive in Chris’s name from 8 a.m. to noon on Trione Field. Chris was given the nickname because of his blinding speed on the soccer field.

Those who give unwrapped toys will be treated to a free coaching and game session that day. Girls of all ages can play from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Boys of all ages can play from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Trione Field is located at 4400 Old Redwood Highway.
